For the first time in ‘Sajangui’, a 5-star hotel executive chef will step in as the new boss.

On the 22nd, KBS2’s ‘Sajangnim Gwi-eun Dangnagi Gwi’ (hereinafter ‘Sajangui’) will feature Shin Jong-cheol, the executive chef known as the ‘Success Myth of Hotel Buffets’, as the new boss. Often referred to as the ‘Chef of Chefs’, Executive Chef Shin Jong-cheol oversees and manages all food and beverage operations in the hotel, employing around 150 staff members.

As chefs wear hats of different heights according to their ranks, Executive Chef Shin Jong-cheol draws everyone's attention with his self-introduction, saying, “There is no one who wears a hat taller than mine.” However, shortly after, he surprises everyone by refusing to be filmed, saying, “Please don’t film this.” This prompts Jeon Hyun-moo to exclaim, “It’s the first time in the show that someone said ‘don’t film’,” raising curiosity about the incident.

Executive Chef Shin Jong-cheol showcases his true colors as ‘Mr. Do It Again’ by issuing tiger-like commands to his staff from the very first day at 7 AM, saying “Do it again, do it again,” plunging them into a hellish experience. He also demonstrates meticulousness by not missing even the sesame topping placed on the food.

Chef Jeong Ji-sun, who has past experience working at a large buffet, testifies to the formidable presence of the executive chef that was hard to encounter at that time. Even Chef Jeong Ji-sun, who respected Executive Chef Shin Jong-cheol, remarked, “Before saying ‘do it again’, the staff should know what to do,” and added, “I understand, but it’s a bit tough,” sparking curiosity.

The full story behind Executive Chef Shin Jong-cheol’s filming refusal, along with previously undisclosed secrets of the 5-star hotel buffet, will be revealed for the first time on ‘Sajangui’.

‘Sajangui’ airs every Sunday at 4:40 PM.
