Jeon So-min received a surprise confession from a divorced man in her club.

In the 5th episode of the KBS Joy drama ‘Today, I’m Sorry’ (directed by Min Ji-young, written by Jo Yu-jin and Choi Ryong), the tumultuous running crew experience of Ji-song (played by Jeon So-min), who dreams of new love despite the scars of divorce, unfolded.

The previous episode ended with a shocking moment when An Chan-yang (played by Jang Hee-ryeong), who had misunderstood Ji-song as the mistress of her husband Seok Jin-ho (played by Kwon Hyuk), bluntly asked, “Sister, is it fun to have an affair with my brother?”

Ji-song tried to clear up the misunderstanding by revealing to An Chan-yang that she was Seok Jin-ho's ex-girlfriend and that she had only provided counseling about their marital issues, with Choi Ha-na (played by Gong Min-jung) supporting her.

An Chan-yang dispelled her doubts and expressed excitement at the fact that her husband's ex-girlfriend lived in the same apartment, showing a desire to become friends with Ji-song and Choi Ha-na, who could bring some dramatic fun to her mundane life.

After almost facing a lonely death while trapped in a bathroom, Ji-song realized that while she could be happy alone, she still wished for a partner. Encouraged by An Chan-yang, she joined a new city running club that sought natural encounters.

The club was attended by Cha Hyun-woo (played by Choi Daniel), her neighbor and rival, who, upon spotting the new member Ji-song, quipped, “If you’re here to meet men again, you should give up,” making everyone burst into laughter at his unexpected remark.

As expected, the club, which seemed very wholesome during the day, transformed into a ‘Serengeti’ of temptations from ‘Nam Mi-sae’ and ‘Yeo Mi-sae’ during the evening after-party.

Ji-song received an unexpected confession from a divorced man, but she rejected him, revealing her pure heart that was waiting for true love, as he began to list trivial conditions such as religion, whether he had children, and spending habits.

Cha Hyun-woo, who happened to overhear this, cleared up the misunderstandings he had about Ji-song, leading to a change in his previously cold and prickly attitude towards her, raising expectations for a new relationship development between the two.

On her way home with Cha Hyun-woo, Ji-song found herself in a life-threatening situation when she encountered a terrifying escaped convict, but she was saved by Choi Ha-na's husband, Bae Seong-tae (played by Woo Kang-min), who was working part-time as a delivery man.

Bae Seong-tae firmly rejected the police's offer of a brave citizen award, pleading, “Please don’t tell the kids’ mom,” raising curiosity among viewers.

‘Today, I’m Sorry’ airs every Thursday at 9 PM on KBS JOY.
