Singer Lee Seok-hoon has hinted at harsh comments regarding Greg.
On the 10th, a production presentation for ENA's new entertainment program ‘Undercover’ was held at the HD Stage in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Attendees included Jung Jae-hyung, Park Jung-hyun, Lee Seok-hoon, Kwon Eun-bi, GroovyRoom, as well as PDs Lee Seo-young and Park Sang-hyun.
‘Undercover’, which will premiere on the 12th at 7:40 PM, is a survival program featuring cover influencers who have taken over social media. Recently, ‘cover’ influencers who sing songs by other artists through social media have gained immense popularity. The total number of followers for the influencers participating in this program is a staggering 74 million. They have gathered in one place, dominating social media with their musicality and voices, regardless of genre.
The lineup of top listeners and judges is also impressive. Representatives from various fields, including Jung Jae-hyung, Park Jung-hyun, Lee Seok-hoon, Kwon Eun-bi, and GroovyRoom, have all come together. Among the participants is Greg, who gained fame as a first-generation cover singer, drawing significant attention.
Lee Seok-hoon, who faced Greg in a one-on-one judging session, said, “I got to see Greg. I met him alone and had a lot of thoughts.” He added, “I don’t know how my expression will come out on the broadcast, but the situation was ambiguous. There’s no right answer in music, but these days, I often encounter situations where answers are being created and listened to.”
Lee Seok-hoon also mentioned, “Greg sings really well and is an outstanding artist, but there are different things that I see based on my standards, so I conveyed that cautiously. I definitely gave my feedback cautiously. I don’t know how it will come out on the broadcast. I’m thinking of not watching it,” hinting at a harsh critique.
