Actress Lee Young-ae made an appearance at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards'.
Lee Young-ae took the stage as a presenter for the Popularity Award at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards' broadcast on the 11th.
Dressed in black, Lee Young-ae showcased her elegant figure and said, "I will greet you through a KBS drama in 2025. The work is titled 'Eunsu's Good Day'. In the drama, I play an ordinary housewife who gets involved in a dangerous deal to protect her precious family. Many people are still working hard on the filming. I am working with many great actors like Kim Young-kwang and Park Yong-woo. I ask for your great expectations and interest."
She continued, "I received the Popularity Award a long time ago, and I am grateful for it. Every award is precious, but this one, being an award that you all give, holds a different kind of value."
The '2024 KBS Acting Awards', hosted by broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu and actors Seo Hyun and Moon Sang-min, was originally scheduled to be broadcast live on December 31 of last year but was canceled due to the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster. The awards ceremony was then conducted as a recorded event.
Nominees for the Grand Prize included Lee Soon-jae from the drama 'Barking Dog', Ji Hyun-woo and Lim Soo-hyang from 'Beauty and the Beast', Kim Jung-hyun and Park Ji-young from 'Ironing Family', and Kim Ha-neul from 'Let's Grab the Collar'.
