Jin Tae-hyun revealed the reason why he runs marathons.

After sending my daughter to heaven 20 days before giving birth, I promised to complete a marathon as a commemoration of the birth. Honestly, I didn’t want to run, but she was a child who came and went. So I wanted to keep that promise.”
He continued, “What gave me strength was after sending the baby away, I suddenly got up and started walking after the C-section. Then I thought, ‘I need to recover.’ Seeing that, I realized I had to protect this woman,” which touched the audience.
