In “Whenever I Get the Chance,” Kim Jong-min receives a Poo Bao doll, a symbol of fertility, as a wedding gift from Yoo Jae-suk.
In the 19th episode of SBS's entertainment show “Whenever I Get the Chance” (directed by Choi Bo-pil, written by Chae Jin-ah), actor Kim Dae-myung steps in as Yoo Yeon-seok's partner due to Yoo Yeon-seok's absence from the drama schedule. Alongside them, broadcaster Kim Jong-min joins as a friend. Notably, Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Dae-myung, and Kim Jong-min are all celebrities from the Suyu-ri area, forming a close bond as the so-called “Suyu Brothers.”
The “Suyu Brothers,” gathered at an amusement park, are captivated by the sliding play of Poo Bao's siblings, Lui Bao and Hui Bao, and find themselves unable to leave a character doll store after being mesmerized by a panda doll. Yoo Jae-suk, lost in childlike wonder, exclaims, “I want to take this home,” prompting Kim Jong-min to sincerely mutter, “I want to keep it at home.”
As Kim Jong-min, who is about to get married, displays a different kind of excitement, Yoo Jae-suk showcases his big brotherly generosity by gifting each of them a large Poo Bao doll, saying, “I'll gift this to you,” bringing smiles of joy.
After making a loud announcement, Yoo Jae-suk stands at the checkout, checks the price, and remarks, “It is expensive,” but willingly pays with his personal card, drawing everyone's attention. However, as he looks at Kim Jong-min, who is beaming while holding the large Poo Bao doll, Yoo Jae-suk reveals, “Jong-min, this is expensive. It’s your wedding gift,” leaving Kim Jong-min speechless.
In response, Kim Jong-min shares, “My phone was also bought by Hyung Jae-suk. Even if I want to change it, I can’t,” revealing their close relationship. Yoo Jae-suk coolly responds, “When it’s time to change that phone, I’ll buy you another one,” showcasing his warm big brother side by generously offering to buy both the phone and the panda doll.
While enjoying the day, Kim Jong-min remarks, “I’ve come to the amusement park for events or work, but I’ve never come to have fun,” and adds, “I should come with my girlfriend,” hinting at a secret date at the amusement park.
As curiosity builds about whether Kim Jong-min will have a successful amusement park date before his wedding, the “Suyu Brothers” tour of the amusement park will be revealed in the main broadcast of “Whenever I Get the Chance.”
The 19th episode of “Whenever I Get the Chance” airs on the 14th at 10:20 PM.
