Lee Jun-hyuk from ‘My Perfect Secretary’ has risen to first place in participant buzz, elevating the work to second place in buzz.
On the 14th, Good Data Corporation, an online competitiveness analysis agency for K-content, announced that in the second week of January's TV-OTT drama buzz survey, Netflix's ‘Squid Game Season 2’ saw a significant decrease in buzz compared to the previous week but maintained first place for the third consecutive week.
Following this, the buzz for SBS's Friday-Saturday drama ‘My Perfect Secretary’ increased significantly compared to the previous week, landing in second place, thanks to the performances of Lee Jun-hyuk and Han Ji-min, who ranked first and second in participant buzz, respectively. In particular, Lee Jun-hyuk, who captured hearts with his melodramatic gaze at the beginning of the year, has made his first appearance at the top of the drama participant buzz rankings.
Good Data's Won Soon-woo, Data PD, stated, “There is a positive response among netizens regarding the chemistry between the two lead actors, Lee Jun-hyuk and Han Ji-min,” presenting the results of the sentiment analysis.
JTBC's ‘Mrs. Ock’s Story’ maintained its third place from last week, while tvN's ‘Ask the Stars’ saw a 19.3% increase in buzz, securing fourth place, and the new original drama ‘Wonkyung’ on Tving took fifth place. MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Motel California’ started in sixth place.
The survey conducted by Good Data Corporation for the second week of January included TV dramas that were broadcast or released between the 6th and 12th, as well as OTT original dramas and the participants appearing in each program.
The buzz survey to select the most competitive program of the week analyzes information related to the program from news articles, VON (Voice of Netizen), videos (video clips and shorts), and SNS, along with netizen reactions. The company stated, “Among the data collected for the survey, materials unrelated to the program and abusive materials intended to artificially inflate buzz scores are filtered out. This process allows for a more accurate analysis of program competitiveness, with an accuracy rate of over 97%.”
