The TVING original series ‘Wongyeong: The Connection of Dano’ has officially released its main trailer, stirring the hearts of viewers. The grand history begins with the love story of two individuals, Cha Joo-young and Lee Hyun-wook, during the late Goryeo period.
The TVING original series ‘Wongyeong: The Connection of Dano’ (Directed by Kim Sang-ho / Written by Lee Young-mi / Produced by Studio Dragon and JS Pictures) depicts the fateful first meeting of ‘Wongyeong’ (Cha Joo-young) and ‘Lee Bang-won’ (Lee Hyun-wook), who shared the same dream before embracing the world. This romantic tale, which is a prequel to the tvN X TVING original drama ‘Wongyeong’, portrays the love of two people who were once lovers before becoming a married couple. It is set to be exclusively released on TVING on the 21st (Tuesday) at noon.
The main trailer released on the 15th begins with an exciting scene typical of the romance genre. Lee Bang-won, who is captivated by Wongyeong's bold personality, confesses, “I feel like my heart keeps flowing towards you,” and attempts a ‘Goryeo-style push and pull’ by saying, “If it’s a feeling I need to cut off.” However, the bold woman Wongyeong pushes him away, saying, “Please cut it off,” which brings a smile to the viewers as Lee Bang-won appears flustered.
However, a pivotal moment that turns Wongyeong's heart is revealed. Lee Bang-won expresses his sincerity, saying, “How can a student who claims to create a new world turn a blind eye to the grievances of the people being dragged away as noblewomen?” Ultimately, despite her family's opposition, Wongyeong chooses Lee Bang-won, declaring, “Please expel me from the Min family.” Thus begins the fateful ‘romantic longing’ (戀慕之情, to miss and love someone).

The second wife of Lee Seong-gye, Queen Sin-deok, orders the assassination of the loyalist Jeong Mong-ju, signaling the start of a power struggle. Moreover, she shows him the armory, saying, “This is the power you will need when the time comes,” supporting Lee Bang-won’s grand ambitions. This is Wongyeong's way of loving Lee Bang-won, and thus, a grand history begins. The ‘mutual love of ice and charcoal’ (氷炭相愛) dreamed of by the two is the beginning of a monumental history.
