‘Girl's High Kick’ will be broadcast 10 minutes late due to the extended airing of ‘SBS 8 News’.
On the 15th, an SBS official stated to Star Today, “Today (15th), ‘Girl's High Kick’, which was scheduled to air at 9 PM, will be broadcast 10 minutes late due to the extended airing of ‘SBS 8 News’.”
The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) arrested President Yoon Suk-yeol on charges of being the leader of a rebellion at around 10:33 AM on the same day and is currently investigating him. In response, SBS has been airing special news coverage since 4:40 AM to report on the situation.
Before the execution of the arrest warrant by the CIO, President Yoon released a video message stating, “It is truly deplorable to see illegal actions being carried out and procedures being forcibly conducted under an invalid warrant,” and added, “To prevent an unfortunate bloodshed, I have decided to comply with the CIO's summons, even though it is an illegal investigation.”
