Actress Goo Hye-sun revealed an episode where she was approached by a college student 20 years her junior.
On the 15th, MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ featured guests Choo Shin-soo, Goo Hye-sun, Kwak Si-yang, and Yoon Nam-no.
On that day, Goo Hye-sun mentioned that she had been approached by a college student, saying, “It seems that friends in their 20s don’t calculate things. Given the age and mindset, I think the time when one doesn’t calculate reality is exactly during college. To those friends, I might seem like someone they can date, but from my perspective, I feel like my parents would worry, and it’s not easy for me either. The age difference is twenty years.”
She continued, “When I get a KakaoTalk message, I really take my time to reply. I say things like, ‘I have to think about my parents.’ Then they said they didn’t feel rejected and thanked me instead.”
When Kim Gura asked about her willingness to date, Goo Hye-sun replied, “I have no desire for a relationship. I have a strong mindset that I shouldn’t be tempted by relationships because I have made a commitment to what I want to do. When I was younger, my parents used to say, ‘If you date, you won’t study.’ I think that’s really true.”
