Singer Hong Kyung-min actively clarified rumors related to Kim Gun-mo.
Recently, a video titled "We Have Invited Legendary X-Generation Singers" featuring singers Hyun Jin-young, Hong Kyung-min, and Yumi was posted on the YouTube channel 'B-Class Hearing'.
In the video, Hong Kyung-min mentioned rumors surrounding the lyrics of his hit song "Shaken Friendship." When the cast said, "There are rumors that the lyrics of 'Shaken Friendship' are based on real events," Hong Kyung-min opened up by saying, "I have lived my life thinking there are three types of people in the world: men, women, and friends' women. A friend's woman is not a woman to me."
He continued, "Brother Kim Chang-hwan wrote the lyrics, and he likes it. (The song) 'Wrong Meeting' sung by Kim Gun-mo was also written by Kim Chang-hwan. That's why there were rumors that Hong Kyung-min stole Kim Gun-mo's girlfriend," expressing his frustration.
In response, Hyun Jin-young said, "Wasn't it? That's what I understood," to which Hong Kyung-min emphasized, "No, it has nothing to do with it. The lyrics of 'Shaken Friendship' are the imagination of Brother Chang-hwan."
