Anchor Kim Soo-ji revealed her busy daily life.

On the afternoon of the 18th, MBC's entertainment program 'The Manager's Perspective' (hereafter 'The Manager') featured anchor Kim Soo-ji and Park Se-ri.

In this episode, anchor Kim Soo-ji arrived at work at 9 AM, just like any other office worker. Jeon Jong-hwan, who appeared as Kim Soo-ji's daily manager, introduced himself, saying, "I am Jeon Jong-hwan, the anchor currently affiliated with Kim Soo-ji. There are about 15 people in our department. Kim Soo-ji and I co-hosted 'News Today,' and she is a very close junior to me."

As soon as she arrived at work, Kim Soo-ji pinned her hair up and immediately started her tasks, but then packed her things and went out again. After going down a flight of stairs, she arrived at the MBC News Department, where Jeon Jong-hwan said, "Kim Soo-ji became a news desk anchor in May. It's a kind of side job, but she spends most of her time with reporters in the news department. She also works as a writer and participates in book talks. Additionally, she is active as a lyricist, so she is really busy. Kim Soo-ji once said she would retire as an MBC anchor, but I wonder if she can do that."

At 10 AM, she headed to a meeting room for an editing meeting, diligently taking notes while listening to the team leaders' requests. Later, Kim Soo-ji visited Director Cha Mi-yeon to receive year-end bonuses and encouragement awards. Cha Mi-yeon said, "The president mentioned that your abilities as a lyricist really shine during the closing remarks... You write everything," showing her support.

The team leader asked, "How's it going? Has it been over six months since you became an anchor? I spent seven years in the news department," sharing his experience of transitioning from an anchor to a reporter. Kim Soo-ji responded, "Do I feel lonely due to the difficulties of being in a different department? Not really. But it can be a bit lonely there, even though everyone is very nice and helpful," during their conversation.

At noon, Kim Soo-ji had lunch with her colleagues, anchors Jo Hyun-yong, and PDs Shin Han-byul and Lee Jong-hwa, sharing casual conversations.

At 2 PM, after the afternoon meeting concluded, Kim Soo-ji read through the news report that had been moved up.

As the live broadcast began, she continuously revised her comments while anchor Jo Hyun-yong was speaking, keeping a close eye on the news. Finally, when it was her turn, despite the order of the live connection changing, Kim Soo-ji delivered the news with her characteristic strong voice.

In the meantime, anchor Kim Hyun-yong was also revising his comments while waiting, and Kim Soo-ji did not take a second of rest, impressing the panelists with her dedication.

After the live broadcast ended successfully, Kim Soo-ji joined her fellow MBC anchors for a year-end party. The MC, anchor Kim Joon-sang, announced, "We have fun games prepared, with prizes worth about 1.5 million won waiting for you. The person who guesses the most games correctly today will receive a 400,000 won Bluetooth speaker. We have spelling quizzes and new word quizzes prepared," as he hosted the event.

Anchor Kim Soo-ji smiled brightly upon seeing her husband, Han Gi-soo, who came to greet her at the year-end party venue. She said, "During COVID-19, the anchors went as audience members, and seeing him sing was really my ideal type," surprising the panelists.

She continued, "I found him on social media and liked his post, and he contacted me saying 'Hello.' I replied, 'I enjoyed the performance,' and that was it, but then he sent a story to my radio show saying he had someone on his mind lately."

Kim Soo-ji remarked, "I thought it was me. I knew my husband was on a business trip to Jeju Island, and when he mentioned thinking of someone while seeing the Jeju scenery, I was surprised," impressing the panelists. After returning home from work, she immediately started writing lyrics, continuing her busy life as a multi-jobber.

The second main character of 'The Manager' was Park Se-ri. While filming a vlog of an exhibition visit with her managers, she said, "When the staff said they would do it, I wondered why they would take on more work. But seeing me up close, they must have been confident that they could do it well. They did a great job," praising her staff.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, she encountered rookie artist Jeon Hyun-moo and playfully said, "Oh, congratulations, artist! We're not friends yet, and you came without my permission to paint like this?" She joked. While looking at his artwork, Park Se-ri commented, "He captured the unique characteristics of people very well. Thank you so much," which made everyone laugh.

After work, Park Se-ri invited her staff to her home, saying she would cook for them. She mentioned, "Honestly, I bought a hot pot for hot pot dishes, and today is the first time I'm using it," as she prepared the hot pot, and the staff enjoyed dinner with her.

After setting a table filled with hot pot, braised short ribs, soy sauce marinated crab, and barley grilled fish, the four of them enjoyed their meal. Park Se-ri shared her New Year plans, saying, "After the competition in the U.S. in March, I have to prepare for the opening ceremony in Yongin," discussing the opening of Seri Park.

'The Manager' airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM on MBC.
