The daily lives of Park Seo-jin and Lee Min-woo were revealed on ‘Salrimnam’.

In the episode aired on the 18th, KBS2's entertainment program ‘Salrimnam Season 2’ (hereinafter ‘Salrimnam’) showcased the daily episodes of Park Seo-jin and Lee Min-woo. The viewership rating recorded 6.2% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea, with a scene where Park Seo-jin's family searched for cigarettes and lighters hidden by their father reaching a peak rating of 7.6%.

On that day, while Park Seo-jin's family was gathered for a conversation, Park Seo-jin's father left the room to smoke. Despite declaring to quit smoking for health management due to a history of myocardial infarction, the family scolded him for still not being able to quit. Under the pressure from the family, Park Seo-jin's father ultimately decided to try quitting smoking again.

Park Seo-jin's family had a simple competition using an exercise device that could test lung capacity, and Park Seo-jin and his younger sister Hyo-jung showed their carefree sibling dynamic by playing a game of "honey night." They also confiscated all the hidden cigarettes and lighters from their father. Park Seo-jin's father humorously expressed his reluctance, saying, “I know it’s for my health, but I feel a bit sad. When you all found my cigarettes, I almost cried later.”

Just three hours after starting to quit smoking, Park Seo-jin's father suffered withdrawal symptoms and, contrary to his usual loving demeanor, showed sensitivity by saying, “I don’t even want a kiss,” to his wife. Park Seo-jin's family suggested, “If you’re busy, you won’t think about smoking,” and they went out to harvest cabbage for kimchi together. However, despite the family’s efforts, the father’s withdrawal symptoms continued, and he was even spotted heading to the terrace late at night, raising questions about whether the quit-smoking operation would succeed.

In the previous broadcast, Lee Min-woo had encouraged his unwell parents to get health check-ups. Concerned about his mother’s past knee surgery and diagnoses of lung cancer and dementia, as well as his father’s neurological issues, Lee Min-woo persuaded his parents, who were adamantly refusing to visit the hospital, to go. After the consultation, his mother revealed her fear of discovering a serious illness, which had made her reluctant to undergo the health check-up.

After completing all the tests, Lee Min-woo's mother received the doctor's opinion that she was “well managed for her age,” which greatly relieved Lee Min-woo. However, his father received an unexpected diagnosis of severe gastric ulcers with a possibility of cancer. Lee Min-woo, who had not undergone a health check-up in ten years, also learned that he had progressed to a considerable state of arteriosclerosis for his age and was advised to take hypertension medication, shocking the entire family.

In response, Lee Min-woo's mother stated, “Since the results for my husband and son are not good, I will have to advise them well in the future,” and Lee Min-woo resolved, “For the sake of my worried parents, I need to manage my health.” He also expressed, “I’m really glad that I was able to recognize my mother’s dementia early through ‘Salrimnam.’ I am very grateful that I could check my parents' condition through this comprehensive examination.”
