Comedian Jang Dong-min revealed his PC room business.
On the 23rd, the MBC entertainment show ‘Save Me! Homes’ featured various apartments in Songpa-gu, which ranked first in apartment transaction volume for 2024. On this day, Ha Seok-jin appeared as a guest and went on a site visit with Kim Sook and Kim Dae-ho.
According to Nielsen Korea, the household rating for the previous day's broadcast of ‘Save Me! Homes’ was 3.6% in the metropolitan area, marking the highest figure for 2025.
The broadcast analyzed not only the apartments located in Songpa-gu but also large apartment complexes in the nearby Gangdong-gu. The property in question is a large complex with about 12,000 units that has just begun to welcome residents and is gaining popularity. However, the selling price of the properties is quite high, reaching hundreds of millions of won.
In response, Jang Dong-min said, “I operate a PC room near that apartment complex. I was contemplating whether to close the business after hearing about the reconstruction news. I decided to just hold on,” and added, “As time passed after the reconstruction, the demand from younger generations increased, and now it’s almost a gold mine,” referring to his business success.
He then humorously remarked, “Hearing the price of that apartment, I think I need to raise my prices,” which brought laughter.
