Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong confessed that he suffered from sleepwalking in his childhood.
In the KBS2 broadcast of ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ aired on the 24th, Kim Jaejoong reminisced about memories with his sisters.
On that day, Kim Jaejoong's first, fourth, and fifth sisters gathered at his family home, drawing attention. The sisters recalled Kim Jaejoong's childhood when he was adopted into a family with many daughters at the age of three.
Kim Jaejoong, who often had nosebleeds and frequently vomited after eating, was lovingly cared for by his eight sisters. Kim Jaejoong expressed his regret, saying, “I was weak and often sick. From the moment I can’t remember to the moment I can, I was sick. I know I caused a lot of trouble because my health was so poor.”
Kim Jaejoong also confessed that he suffered from sleepwalking in his childhood. He said, “I have never gone a day without dreaming. I still dream every day.”
Kim Jaejoong recounted, “A long time ago, I went to Daecheon Beach in my father’s car, and I dreamed of walking alone on the beach. But it wasn’t a dream. I realized I was sleepwalking because the soles of my feet were black.” His sisters responded, “We were looking for you.”
Additionally, Kim Jaejoong shocked everyone by saying, “When I went to my sister’s apartment, I once hung from the railing (due to sleepwalking).” He explained the situation, saying, “I was really hanging from the railing. I was hanging from the railing of a 10th-floor apartment. I thought it was a dream.”
Moreover, Kim Jaejoong mentioned the adoption fact that he had not spoken about until now. He said, “Now there are no secrets, but the only one that existed before was my family history,” adding, “I was the subject of gossip around me. I thought it would be better to speak about it myself.”
Kim Jaejoong stated, “I was adopted at the age of three, and there were various situations and processes. I learned about my adoption after my debut. Honestly, I don’t think the fact that I was adopted is important. What matters more is the present, and my current family is very precious.”
