Park Ji-young shared her thoughts on the conclusion of ‘Ironing Family’.
In the KBS2 weekend drama ‘Ironing Family’, which concluded on the 26th, Park Ji-young played the lead role of ‘Go Bong-hee’, showcasing her acting prowess with a passionate performance that brought the weekend drama to life.
In the long-running weekend drama, Park Ji-young not only took on the role of the head of the family but also dynamically led the diverse narrative developments with her acting skills, maintaining the center amidst various incidents surrounding a money bag.
Moreover, with her honest affection for her children and a romance that traverses friendship and love, she proved her perfect acting skills worthy of being a trusted actor by winning both the Best Couple Award and the Excellence Award at the ‘2024 KBS Acting Awards’.
On the 27th, Park Ji-young expressed her deep affection for the character, stating through her agency, PrainTPC, “Go Bong-hee was truly an extraordinary character. From the early scenes with the nun disguise to the final moments in prison, it felt like I played different characters across various works. I am grateful to writer Seo Suk-hyang and the director for trusting me with the tumultuous Bong-hee character.”
She added, “I am thankful to the staff who worked hard during the challenging filming and to the viewers who loved ‘Ironing Family’ every weekend.”
