Actor Chun Jung-myung confessed to being a victim of fraud.
In the episode of tvN STORY 'Can We Love Now' aired on the 27th, Chun Jung-myung's blind date was depicted.
On that day, Chun Jung-myung revealed the story behind his sudden break from acting in 2019. He said, "I had a manager I worked with for a long time. We worked together for about 15-16 years, but that friend betrayed me," drawing attention.
Chun Jung-myung continued, "I was scammed and embezzled. I remember the moment I first heard the news like a scene from a movie. When I arrived at the office after hearing the news, there were about 30 people there, and it was a very chaotic situation. They were all people who had been scammed by that friend."
He added, "I didn't just think of that friend as a manager; I regarded him like a younger brother. It was really hard to be betrayed by someone I trusted so much. I just sat there, feeling dazed. Even when I was still, it felt like I was dreaming. The mental stress and shock were so great that I became confused."
Chun Jung-myung, who later developed social anxiety, said, "I couldn't meet people well, and even when I did, I couldn't trust them. Even if they approached me sincerely, it didn't feel sincere. They felt like enemies."
