Broadcaster Park So-hyun has ultimately chosen her match, Kim Yoon-goo.
In the episode aired on the 27th, tvN STORY’s ‘Now, Can We Love’ depicted Park So-hyun’s final choice after three matchmaking dates.
On that day, Park So-hyun discovered a large slide that was 6 meters high and asked her match, Kang Seok-won, “Do you think you can do this?” Kang Seok-won recalled not showing a great performance on their last date and said, “I’m not sure if I can do well, but I’ll give it a try for you,” which made Park So-hyun smile.
At the top of the slide, Kang Seok-won confessed to Park So-hyun, “What do you think of me? I won’t go down until you answer.” Park So-hyun replied, “You’re cool.”
In an interview with the production team, Park So-hyun shared, “It was really cool. Among all the moments today, that was the most impactful. I was surprised. I appreciated how he honestly expressed his feelings and was straightforward. He really made an effort to appeal to me.”
Park So-hyun and Kang Seok-won also discussed their views on marriage. When Kang Seok-won asked Park So-hyun, “What kind of person do you want to marry?” she replied, “I prefer someone who matches well with me. Someone who has similar values and judgments is the best.”
She continued, “But now, I don’t have any fantasies. It’s been too long since I let those go. When I’m in my 30s, I might wish for this and that, but now my dream is to meet someone healthy who thinks like me. However, it’s hard to find someone with similar values, and I really need to meet someone with good character, which isn’t easy. In fact, I’ve let go of many other things a long time ago.”
However, Park So-hyun’s final choice was Kim Yoon-goo. She said, “The other two were also great people, but when I looked into my heart, I think I was most drawn to Kim Yoon-goo,” recalling the 10-year younger Kim Yoon-goo.
Park So-hyun expressed, “It seems that my meeting with Kim Yoon-goo was intense for me. So even though quite some time has passed, I’ve thought a lot about whether I can overcome the 10-year age difference. I want to take a step further and love more broadly. That desire is very strong, but despite that, the 10-year difference is very difficult for me. I don’t want to be a burden to Kim Yoon-goo, as it could hurt him too.”
She added, “It’s hard to define myself since I haven’t dated for a long time, but I’m trying to think more openly about the age difference. I want to break this mold and take a step forward. I hope to have no regrets about this choice.”
