Broadcaster Lee Sang-min won the SBS Son Award at the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’.

The ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ was held live on the evening of the 29th at 8:20 PM at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was originally scheduled for December 31 of last year but was postponed due to a mourning atmosphere following the Jeju Air incident.

Immediately after receiving the award, Lee Sang-min took the stage and said, “I guess it’s not the Grand Prize this year either,” adding, “Im Won-hee said I wouldn’t be able to win if I wore glasses, so I didn’t wear them, but I will wear them again,” which brought laughter.

He continued, “Still, this is the biggest award for me. There were times when I couldn’t be on air for even a minute, so being able to show so much time is a joy. I felt that if I work hard, this is an award I can receive every year.”

Meanwhile, the ‘2024 SBS Entertainment Awards’ will be hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Jang Do-yeon, and Lee Hyun-yi. This year’s candidates for the Grand Prize include Yoo Jae-suk, Jeon Hyun-moo, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Hyun-yi, and Kim Jong-kook.
