Magician Lee Eungyeol revealed that he was scouted for the military due to his magic.

On the broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star' on the 29th, guests included Lim Yo-han, Jo Hyun-jae, Lee Eungyeol, Gweido, and Park Young-jin.

On that day, Lee Eungyeol recalled, "In 2007, there were representative soldiers in each unit. There was such an atmosphere that the Chief of Naval Operations asked for me to be recruited. A formal document even came down. The head of the publicity team came to see my performance in person, and after the show, we talked over dinner. I mentioned that 'my magic performance is quite large-scale, but wouldn't it be difficult in the military?' and he said, 'We will support you by renovating the gym so you can practice.'

He continued, "From that point, I spent two months planning. Since it was the Navy, I thought about making Admiral Yi Sun-sin's statue disappear and then having the turtle ship appear in silhouette. However, after finishing basic training, the senior officer told me to follow him, and there was the head of the publicity team. He said, 'Don't do anything large-scale, just make the movements bigger.' I was in shock for a week to the point of being speechless. As a J (planning type), I feel confused when my plans fall apart. I couldn't shake off the feeling of being deceived for a week. When the atmosphere gets to a certain point, I would usually express my dissatisfaction, but I couldn't do that."

Meanwhile, 'Radio Star' airs every Wednesday at 10:30 PM.
