Singer Hwang Min-ho has gifted a lively morning.
Hwang Min-ho appeared on KBS1’s ‘Morning Yard’ on the 25th in the ‘Tuesday Guest Seat’ segment.
Hwang Min-ho opened the stage with “Ppalpallake” and conveyed vibrant energy from the morning with his rich singing and exciting drum performance. He revealed, “Park Seo-jin said I did well,” adding, “I’ve been playing the drum for just over a year. I wanted to play an instrument on stage, and he recommended the drum.”
He said, “Since then, I’ve been watching Seo-jin’s videos, and it was so much fun. I practiced self-taught,” and added, “The feeling of hitting the drum is really good. I don’t feel stressed, but the hand feel is enjoyable.”
Recently active in MBN’s ‘Current King of Singers 2’, Hwang Min-ho confessed, “I didn’t have high expectations because many of the best active singers in Korea participated. Instead, I went out as a learner,” and he picked ‘Umma’ as the most challenging stage.
Regarding the reason for choosing ‘Umma’, Hwang Min-ho explained, “I received MVP with ‘Simbaatda Simbwaesso’ and sang it as the ace in the team competition. I felt a bit of pressure and tension because I wanted to go up with my brother and uncle.”
He continued, “All the songs were selected by my father. Since I was young, my dad has been choosing songs for me, so in terms of selection, he’s a player,” and added, “If I practice, I can sing all the songs.”
Hwang Min-ho’s new song ‘Mannani’, which has not been officially released yet, was also unveiled for the first time. He introduced it by saying, “‘Mannani’ is a song about my mother, showing the love and care a parent has for their child. It expresses my apologies and love towards my mother by likening the child to a ‘mannani’.” He moved the audience with an emotional performance of ‘Mannani’.
Hwang Min-ho recently participated in ‘Current King of Singers 2’, advancing to the third round of the finals. He is currently meeting fans through various broadcasts and content, and will release his new song ‘Mannani’ on March 1.
