Former announcer Kim Dae-ho, who declared himself a freelancer and left MBC, indirectly revealed the contract amount with his agency.
Kim Dae-ho appeared as a guest on MBC FM4U's 'Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi' broadcast on the 25th.
When asked about the contract amount, Kim Dae-ho said, “I can’t disclose it, but it was not an amount that could generally be deposited into my bank account while working a regular job,” indicating that he received a substantial amount as a contract fee, proving his potential.
On the 4th, Kim Dae-ho left MBC, where he had worked for 14 years. After winning the Rookie of the Year award at the MBC Entertainment Awards, he was considered a candidate for the grand prize the following year, drawing attention to where he would settle next. On the 21st, it was reported that he signed an exclusive contract with One Hundred, co-founded by MC Mong and Cha Ga-won, the chairman of the Piak Group.
What made Kim Dae-ho choose One Hundred? He explained, “Lee Soo-geun, who is under the subsidiary company Big Planet Made Entertainment, is a senior from my hometown,” adding, “I sought a lot of advice. Having a senior from my hometown like Lee Soo-geun was a source of support.” Kim Dae-ho also jokingly said, “Surely, my hometown senior wouldn’t stab me in the back.”
