A person whose attempts at remarriage have repeatedly failed sought help on 'Ask Anything'.
On the broadcast of KBS JOY's entertainment program 'Ask Anything' on the 3rd, a mother-daughter duo appeared.
On that day, the daughter revealed, “My mom, who is in her 50s, has been living alone for 8 years after her divorce and has been dating with the goal of remarriage, but it has never worked out.” She added, “I’m worried because every attempt at remarriage has failed.”
Seo Jang-hoon actively recommended remarriage for the mother, but asked the daughter, who was frustrated that the remarriage was not happening, “What is the reason for the failure of remarriage?” The mother explained the reasons for her failed remarriages with three boyfriends she met after her divorce: “The first boyfriend failed due to personality differences, the second due to age differences, and the third boyfriend, who is currently with me, keeps postponing remarriage by saying he will ‘wait’.”
In response, Lee Soo-geun said, “If the other person is good, you would walk through a minefield,” and Seo Jang-hoon remarked, “The people I genuinely like are not proactive, while those I’m not interested in are very proactive. My taste may not align, but there could be really good people out there,” advising the mother to lower her standards.
The daughter then mentioned that there was a good person who had been sincerely by her mother's side for a long time, even though he wasn't her mother's type.
When the daughter explained, “I didn’t meet that person because of his face and height,” Seo Jang-hoon got angry and said, “Take your mother in, she’s not in her 20s,” while Lee Soo-geun added, “How cute are short men?”
Seo Jang-hoon firmly advised, “From now on, you need to change your thinking. There’s no other way.”
Hearing that there is someone she is currently seeing, Seo Jang-hoon said, “This family desperately wants remarriage, but if the man has no thoughts of remarriage, it would be manly to honestly communicate that.”
