'Triplet Dad' and actor Song Il-gook broke a sweat under Heo Young-man's straightforward question.

In today's (9th) broadcast of TV CHOSUN's 'Food Guest Heo Young-man's Baekban Gihang', Song Il-gook appears as a guide to taste the spring of Songdo.

This episode will share the recent updates on Song Il-gook, who rose to stardom in the historical drama 'Jumong' in 2006.

Not only in historical dramas but also in the variety show 'The Return of Superman', where he gained public attention as 'Triplet Dad', he suddenly disappeared from the media. In response, food guest Heo Young-man asked what he had been doing all this time and followed up with a direct question, "Have you been using your wife's living expenses?" which made him sweat.

Song Il-gook responded that he had been focusing more on performances and musicals rather than broadcasting. He revealed that although he is a veteran actor with 27 years of experience, he went to auditions like a newcomer, raising curiosity about the circumstances behind it.

Additionally, he shares the story of how he started acting and reveals a special connection with actor Yoo Dong-geun. He mentioned that during a wandering period before his debut, he met Yoo Dong-geun on the set of the drama 'Tears of the Dragon', who encouraged him by saying, "If I were you, I would become an actor." This statement stuck with him, leading him to apply for the MBC talent audition, and he faced a series of challenges to become an actor.

Moreover, he continuously expresses his affection for his family, showing his loving side. In front of his triplets Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, Song Il-gook is undoubtedly a 'fool for his sons'. He shares that before marriage, he was rejected twice by his wife, which hurt his pride, and he tells the behind-the-scenes story of their first meeting like a romantic sitcom.
