Actress Nam Bora confessed to being a victim of a second-hand transaction scam.
On the 14th, KBS2's ‘New Product Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereinafter ‘Pyeon Restaurant’) depicted Nam Bora's daily life.
On this day, Nam Bora chatted in a family group chat. At that time, her siblings said, "I want to eat tteokbokki," and Nam Bora set out to make a set of three snacks: tteokbokki, gimbap, and fish cake soup for her siblings.
To make tteokbokki, Nam Bora took out a large iron plate and measured the seasoning with a ladle, catching attention. Lee Yeon-bok was surprised, saying, "This kind of measuring is usually done when serving school meals." Boom joked, "Nam Bora's rival is Baek Jong-won."
Having skillfully completed the tteokbokki, Nam Bora also made gimbap. After cooking rice for 20 servings, she made egg sheets with 2 liters of egg mixture. She stir-fried ham, crab sticks, and carrots all at once with both hands, impressing everyone. Her method of rolling gimbap without a bamboo mat also caught attention. Nam Bora said, "I've been rolling it without a bamboo mat since I was young, so I don't know how to use one. You just have to put it in and roll it up."
When the food was ready, her siblings arrived. They looked at the 30 rolls of gimbap and said, "30 rolls is decent. Didn't we make 800 rolls last time?" It turned out that the whole family had made 800 rolls of gimbap for a volunteer activity.
Meanwhile, one sibling said, "Sister is very meticulous and capable, but she also has a clumsy side." Nam Bora acknowledged this, saying, "Like getting scammed in a second-hand transaction."
Nam Bora revealed that she was recently scammed out of 1.45 million won, saying, "The 800 rolls of gimbap were just the beginning. I bought a gimbap cutter to make it easier to cut. It was too expensive to buy at full price, so I bought it second-hand. I deposited the money, but the seller ghosted me. I was angry that the item didn't arrive, but I was even more upset that I had to cut 800 rolls of gimbap by hand."
She continued, "My fiancé said, 'What can you do? You have to cut the gimbap by hand.' But the next day, he came and helped. He cut it with me. He is someone I really need."
Nam Bora expressed her affection for her fiancé, saying, "I tend to lose my judgment when my heart weakens. My fiancé is rational and cautious, so he helps me make better choices when I discuss and decide things together."
