Lee Min-woo, a member of the group Shinhwa, has revealed that he is experiencing health issues.

On the 17th, Lee Min-woo posted on SNS, "Nerves damaged due to stress. Symptoms of facial paralysis." He added, "For Bell's palsy, treatment must be done within the golden time of 72 hours of the initial symptoms to achieve full recovery. If left untreated for years like me, full recovery is difficult, but consistent treatment can lead to improvement."

The cause of the stress appears to be due to fraud. In 2019, while being investigated for sexual assault allegations, Lee Min-woo was extorted a large sum of money by a writer he was acquainted with, referred to as A. At that time, A demanded money, saying, "I have connections within the prosecution, so I can help you receive a non-indictment," and took 2.6 billion won and 218 pieces of art from Lee Min-woo. A was sentenced to prison in the second trial.

Lee Min-woo appeared on the KBS2 variety show 'Salim Namja 2' aired last June, stating, "The bad person is in prison," while also revealing that he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to the incident.
