Shim Eun-jin from the group Baby V.O.X revealed that she has failed five times in her IVF attempts.
On the 17th, Baby V.O.X's Kim I-ji and Shim Eun-jin appeared as special MCs on the SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny'.
During the broadcast, it was reported that the couple Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae are expecting twins after their IVF treatment. In response, Shim Eun-jin revealed that she is also undergoing IVF treatment.
Shim Eun-jin said, "Since I am of age, if I were to have a child, I wanted to have twins at once," and added, "I started IVF treatment in May last year, but I have failed five times. I thought maybe I should stop if I fail one more time."
She continued, "Two weeks ago, I even reached implantation and had a gestational sac, but it failed. It feels like a psychological torment, and I thought I shouldn't give up here. So I'm contemplating whether to try again. It’s been a continuous failure without any promise."
In response to Shim Eun-jin's confession, Lee Ji-hye said, "If you were born in the Year of the Rooster, 1981, it's still okay to try," and Lady Jane also encouraged her, saying, "I will send you good energy."
Meanwhile, Shim Eun-jin married actor Jeon Seung-bin in 2021.
