The family of the late Kim Sae-ron has revealed that they received a second content certification from the agency of actor Kim Soo-hyun, Gold Medalist, and the details have been made public.
On the 17th, the YouTube channel Garoseoro Research Institute disclosed the contents of the second content certification received by the family. Kwon Young-chan, the head of the Korean Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, who is on the side of the family, also provided the second content certification materials to multiple media outlets.
According to the disclosed materials, the second content certification was sent on March 25 of last year. The legal representative of Gold Medalist, LKB Partners, opened by saying, "We request that you refrain from actions that may disrupt the business of our client company (Gold Medalist) and related parties."
LKB Partners further explained the reason for sending the first content certification urging debt repayment to Kim Sae-ron, stating, "If we do not claim against you (Kim Sae-ron) despite the debt repayment being due, there is a possibility that the executives of Gold Medalist could be liable for breach of trust," and sought understanding.
They also stated, "We are willing to negotiate the method and timing of debt repayment. Please suggest a possible schedule for debt repayment," addressing Kim Sae-ron.
Additionally, LKB Partners requested that Kim Sae-ron refrain from contacting employees and actors affiliated with the company and left the contact information of their attorney. Finally, they reiterated, "Please refrain from actions that could significantly disrupt the business of our client company and related parties."
Previously, on the 17th, the family of Kim Sae-ron held a press conference in front of the Seoul Police Agency to announce that they had received the second content certification. Kim Se-ui, the representative of Garoseoro Research Institute, who attended the event, mentioned, "We learned today that the family discovered the second content certification materials while sorting through Kim Sae-ron's belongings. The agency has continuously threatened Kim Sae-ron. The contents indicate that she is instructed not to contact other individuals."
Furthermore, Representative Kim pointed out the behavior of the agency in pressuring Kim Sae-ron, mentioning LKB Partners, stating, "It is the most expensive law firm in our country."
The family of Kim Sae-ron is demanding an official apology from Kim Soo-hyun's side, mentioning the six-year romantic relationship between Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun through Garoseoro Research Institute. This is because Kim Soo-hyun repaid 700 million won through his agency but later sent a content certification. Along with Kim Soo-hyun, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho from the channel 'Entertainment Behind President' has also claimed to have continuously harassed Kim Sae-ron through multiple videos.
In relation to this, Kim Soo-hyun's side initially denied the dating rumors but later stated that they had been in a relationship for about a year after Kim Sae-ron became an adult as the revelations continued.
