According to Star Today on the 18th, tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'That Guy is a Black Dragon' will end on the 24th.
The 12-episode series 'That Guy is a Black Dragon' has aired up to episode 9, and the original ending date was expected to be the 25th. However, with tvN deciding to air episodes 11 and 12 back-to-back starting at 8:50 PM on the 24th, 'That Guy is a Black Dragon' will achieve a successful conclusion on the 24th.
This change is due to the impact of the 2026 North and Central America World Cup Asia Third Qualifying match. The national football team will play against Jordan in the 8th match of Group B of the FIFA North and Central America World Cup Asia Third Qualifiers at the Suwon World Cup Stadium at 8 PM on the 25th. Although tvN will not broadcast the football match, it has been adjusting its schedule to avoid airing during sports events due to viewership issues.
'That Guy is a Black Dragon' is a romance about 'Department Head Killer' team leader Baek Soo-jung (played by Moon Ga-young), who suffers from a dark past, and 'Chaebol Third Generation' department head Ban Joo-yeon (played by Choi Hyun-wook), who harbors a black dragon in his heart. It is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by writer Hye-jin Yang.
The follow-up to 'That Guy is a Black Dragon' will be 'Divorce Insurance', starring Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee, which will premiere on Monday, the 31st, at 8:50 PM.
