‘Divorce Insurance’ Lee Kwang-soo begins the biggest challenge of his life.

On the 19th, the production team of tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Divorce Insurance’ (directed by Lee Won-seok and Choi Bo-kyung, written by Lee Tae-yoon, planned by CJ ENM and Studio Genie, produced by Mongjakso and Studio Mondo) released stills of the character An Seon-man (played by Lee Kwang-soo) with a sharp gaze that piques curiosity. It raises questions about the changes that will come to An Seon-man as he embarks on unpredictable challenges with the Divorce Insurance TF team.

‘Divorce Insurance’ is a pure guarantee office romantic comedy that presents a divorce insurance product to cope with the hottest disaster of our time, divorce, from the innovative product development team of an insurance company filled with the best brains. It is expected to offer a unique empathy through divorce insurance, which guarantees the life after an unexpected breakup, a disaster that lies dormant in everyone. Director Lee Won-seok, who showcased a sensuous and witty directing style in the movie ‘Killing Romance’, and writer Lee Tae-yoon, who has received public love for works with fresh and unique concepts such as ‘The Tale of Nokdu’, ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’, and ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’, have teamed up to heighten expectations.

Lee Kwang-soo plays the cautious and prudent character An Seon-man, a safety-first advocate. As a risk surveyor who proposes accident prevention measures and efficient insurance programs, An Seon-man joins the divorce insurance project led by No Gi-jun (played by Lee Dong-wook), marking a turning point in his life.

Meanwhile, the released photos capture An Seon-man starting a new adventure with the Divorce Insurance TF team. It is intriguing to see him holding a divorce insurance advertisement board at a wedding fair, prioritizing safe methods. His somewhat displeased expression hints at the upheaval he is about to face. Although he boldly joined the TF team, it raises curiosity about what changes An Seon-man will undergo in the challenging process of launching the divorce insurance. Lee Kwang-soo's performance is highly anticipated as he showcases the charm of An Seon-man, who appears cool on the outside but is cautious and timid, along with the delightful tic-tac-toe with his best friend No Gi-jun, played by Lee Dong-wook.

Lee Kwang-soo stated, “The fresh and sophisticated story and the three-dimensional portrayal of each character in the script were appealing,” adding, “With the director's unique directing style, I am confident that this drama will be loved by many.” He further conveyed, “‘Divorce Insurance’ captures the realistic love of adults, and it also encompasses love with friends, family, and colleagues, making it a work that can be related to many relationships.”

Regarding the character ‘An Seon-man’, Lee Kwang-soo described him as “somewhat cold and personal, but with warmth inside.” He added, “Unlike Jeon-man's dryness, the occasional addictive comedy is appealing. I focused on showing the process of change and growth through the development of divorce insurance with the innovative product development team,” raising expectations for Lee Kwang-soo's performance that will amplify An Seon-man's charm.

tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Divorce Insurance’ will premiere on Monday, the 31st, at 8:50 PM, and will be available to global viewers through the streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
