‘Pyeon Restaurant’ Jang Shin-young has moved in with her parents.
In the KBS2 show ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereafter ‘Pyeon Restaurant’) airing on the 21st, the queen of frugal living, Jang Shin-young, will open a one-day ‘Kids Buffet’ at her home. As viewers anticipate Jang Shin-young's special recipes that will cater to children's tastes and preferences, she will also share updates on her recent life with her parents.
In the released VCR, Jang Shin-young was busy preparing for a birthday party. She has a close relationship with the mothers of her 6-year-old son Jeong-woo's kindergarten friends, and they often take turns hosting each other's children's birthday parties. On this day, Jang Shin-young decided to host a birthday party for Jeong-woo's friend and invited the kids over to her house.
Demonstrating her multitasking cooking skills, Jang Shin-young quickly prepared five different dishes that kids would love, using two frying pans at once. The birthday spread was truly a kids' buffet, and Jeong-woo's friends and their mothers were amazed and devoured the food. During this process, the mothers also started their chatting time.
The topic of conversation turned to Jang Shin-young's living arrangement with her parents. Previously on ‘Pyeon Restaurant’, she had suggested to her mother that they live together, and that dream has come true. When a friend asked, “Is it nice living with your mom?” Jang Shin-young replied, “I thought it would be difficult, but now that we’re living together, the house feels warmer, and the kids seem to be growing up politely,” expressing her satisfaction.
However, it’s not all advantages. Jang Shin-young also shared some unexpected challenges of living together, saying, “There are things that my mom and I don’t agree on.” Additionally, she revealed various episodes she experienced while living with her parents, drawing attention.
Jang Shin-young also expressed her gratitude to the neighborhood friends who quietly supported her during difficult times. The kids' buffet that both children and adults love, along with the unique friendship between Jang Shin-young and her friends, will be showcased in the broadcast.
