SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-kyu) features sisters who seem to get along on the surface but are fiercely competing to fulfill their own desires. They are Cha Deok-hee (played by Kim Jeong-nan), the eldest daughter of the chairman of Daesan Group, Cha Gang-cheon (played by Woo Hyun), and Cha Guk-hee (played by Hong Soo-hyun), the youngest daughter.
In the drama, Chairman Cha Gang-cheon officially has no sons. He has an illegitimate child, Ji Seon-woo (played by Cha Woo-min), but due to the fierce opposition from his eldest daughter, Cha Deok-hee, this fact remains hidden. Cha Deok-hee dreams of passing the Daesan Group to her son, Heo Tae-yoon (played by Yoon Sang-hyun). The youngest daughter, Cha Guk-hee, is a character who openly reveals her desires like a snob and is struggling to gain more within the Daesan Group.
On the 21st, the production team of 'Treasure Island' released a scene where the desires and snobbish nature of the Cha sisters explode ahead of the 9th episode broadcast.
In the photo, the Cha sisters are gathered at the Daesan family home with Gong Bi-seo (played by Seo Kyung-hwa). Amidst the tense atmosphere surrounding them, Cha Deok-hee is seen forcefully pulling her younger sister Cha Guk-hee's hair. This is a stark contrast to Cha Deok-hee's usual demeanor of maintaining an air of elegance in any situation, capturing attention. Cha Guk-hee's reaction, appearing flustered and on the verge of tears due to the sudden situation, is also striking. Additionally, the presence of Gong Bi-seo, who seems to be trying to control Cha Deok-hee by wrapping her arms around her shoulders, adds an element of intrigue.
