‘Talk Master 25’ offers the fun of choosing through a variety of themed online travels.
In the JTBC broadcast of ‘Talk Master 25’ on the 24th (directed by Hong Sang-hoon and Kim Seon-jun), musical actress Kim So-hyun and historical storyteller Sun Kim will appear as guests, embarking on an online journey exploring Suzhou, China, known as the ‘Venice of the East,’ and Benito Mussolini, often regarded as the worst dictator in world history.
The Chinese Talk Master first heads to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest garden in Suzhou. Before the garden was established, the beautiful North Pagoda, which utilizes the architectural technique of borrowed scenery to capture the landscape as part of the architecture, and the popular photo spot of the Chenchang Pavilion, built to protect a well from the Yuan Dynasty, can also be seen, raising expectations.
On the Shantang Street, a canal street along the Shantang River, they will taste the specially coated large roasted pig's trotters, stimulating the appetite. The Dongfangzhimen, a landmark of Suzhou's new city and the world's largest gate-shaped building, cost about 900 billion won to construct, hinting at its scale. Lee Chan-won is surprised by the enormous building, exclaiming, “Is this a building?” Additionally, the Dongfangzhimen has a unique appearance reminiscent of pants, earning it the nickname ‘Autumn Long Underwear Pants Building,’ which brings laughter.
The Italian Talk Master engages in a dark tour following the traces of Mussolini, often referred to as the ‘Father of Dictators,’ and considered Italy's worst dictator. They visit Mussolini's birthplace in Predappio, reflecting on how his rebellious and violent nature from childhood led him to become one of the worst dictators in human history.
They also introduce a souvenir shop selling memorabilia related to Mussolini and the Venice Palace, which Mussolini used as his office for about 20 years. The Venice Palace is where Mussolini wielded immense power when he declared Italy's participation in World War II and faced his downfall through the Fascist Grand Council's impeachment. Furthermore, they explore why most of the wars initiated by Mussolini ended in defeat.
In this broadcast, an online journey will also take place, revisiting Japan's Sea of Okhotsk and the footsteps of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, alongside the dark tour of Mussolini in Italy and Suzhou in China.
‘Talk Master 25’ will air on the 24th at 8:50 PM.
