Actor Lee Sang-woo made sansuyu (cornelian cherry) makgeolli for his wife Kim So-yeon.
On the 21st, KBS2's ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ depicted Lee Sang-woo's daily life.
On this day, Lee Sang-woo challenged himself to make sansuyu makgeolli using sansuyu picked from his father-in-law's field. He said, "Kim So-yeon has come to like makgeolli. The sansuyu is pretty in color and has a nice aroma."
Lee Sang-woo wrote a 13-step recipe for sansuyu makgeolli and completed it in fifteen days. After tasting it, Kim So-yeon exclaimed, "It's delicious." Lee Sang-woo was surprised, saying, "It’s tasty, but it’s quite strong. It’s almost the alcohol content of whiskey."
Kim So-yeon stammered, "I made it with sansuyu, but it has no aroma. No, it has no color." Then she playfully asked, "Am I drunk? Am I drunk?" making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
