"I Missed You with Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young" shares untold stories of Yoon Do-hyun and the late Shin Hae-chul.
In the third episode of the ENA entertainment show "I Missed You with Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young," legendary rock band YB leader Yoon Do-hyun confesses the unfulfilled dreams of Shin Hae-chul, who passed away in 2014.
To celebrate his monumental 30th anniversary debut this year, Yoon Do-hyun will showcase YB's new song "Voyeurist," which is the first heavy metal album released by YB, turning the venue into a rock festival. Additionally, he will reveal the headbanging challenge for the title track "Rebellion," which has been gaining attention on social media, providing some fun. A medley of YB's mega hit songs will also be presented to elevate the atmosphere.
This broadcast will unveil unknown backstories of Shin Hae-chul, who sadly passed away, and Yoon Do-hyun. Yoon Do-hyun reveals that Shin Hae-chul had expressed a desire to join YB, saying, "He wanted to come into the YB company. He had intentions as a composer or producer," cautiously sharing Shin Hae-chul's musical aspirations.
Moreover, Yoon Do-hyun mentions how his values have changed after battling cancer. Having suffered from a rare cancer called Waldenström's lymphoma, he experienced a lot of emotional turmoil during his treatment, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic. He expresses that everything around him feels more precious after his battle. Additionally, he shares that his heartbreaking experiences have become a turning point, allowing him to approach his music activities with a new mindset, showing a resilient attitude.
Yoon Do-hyun also shares a chilling yet envious ghost sighting story. This tale, which he reveals for the first time on the show, involves not only Yoon Do-hyun but also his family and manager, captivating the audience. He adds that, according to the saying, "Seeing a ghost brings good fortune," his song "Letting You Go" has been climbing the charts again, and through this, YB has reunited, creating a sense of surprise.
