‘Trot Queen’ Song Ga-in has taken over not only the music industry but also the entertainment scene.
On the 22nd, Song Ga-in appeared on the JTBC entertainment program ‘Knowing Bros’ and brought laughter to viewers with her unfiltered talk and honest charm. The episode featured her unexpected close friend Kwon Hyuk-soo, along with fellow celebrities Sun-ye and Jo Kwon, showcasing their ‘true friendship chemistry’.
Song Ga-in shared, “I originally planned to appear with my college friend Yoo Hee-kwan, but I invited Kwon Hyuk-soo who was more suitable for the show,” revealing the backstory of her appearance. The MCs joked, “It seems like a team that was hastily put together,” to which Song Ga-in responded, “Actually, we met just yesterday and decided to create something,” eliciting laughter.
Kwon Hyuk-soo recounted their first meeting, saying, “We met three years ago at a gathering of friends born in 1986 before filming SNL,” adding, “I was worried because she’s a big star, but we quickly became close.” He also shared a heartwarming episode about how his mother is a huge fan of Song Ga-in and gifted her a bag and a bouquet that she made herself.
