The conflict between Um Ji-won and Ahn Jae-wook in 'Eagle Brothers' deepens further.
In the 16th episode of KBS2's weekend drama 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers!' (written by Kwon Hyun-sook, directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah), which is scheduled to air on the 23rd, the complicated relationship between Ma Gwang-sook (played by Um Ji-won) and Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook) will be depicted.
In the previous 15th episode, a scene where Gwang-sook bursts into anger at Dong-seok, who misunderstands her as a gold digger, soared to a peak viewership rating of 21.2%, showcasing the undeniable strength of weekend dramas.
Earlier, Gwang-sook encountered a former colleague at the LX Hotel. Excited to see her, Gwang-sook engaged in playful conversation with her colleague, and coincidentally, Dong-seok, who was in the same elevator, misunderstood the two as being in an affair. This misunderstanding of Gwang-sook by Dong-seok has escalated uncontrollably, adding to the drama's intrigue.
In the photos released ahead of the 16th episode, Gwang-sook and Dong-seok are captured facing each other in a cold atmosphere. Gwang-sook bursts into laughter upon hearing from Dong-seok that rumors of her being a gold digger are circulating. While Gwang-sook finds this amusing, Dong-seok appears bewildered.
However, Gwang-sook soon becomes serious and questions Dong-seok about the source of the rumors, expressing her anger. Dong-seok cannot hide his surprise at Gwang-sook's strong attitude. Furthermore, as Gwang-sook continues to explain herself, Dong-seok becomes increasingly confused, raising curiosity about how tangled their relationship will become.
Meanwhile, Dong-seok is also seen making a phone call with a serious expression. He even makes a call to verify whether Gwang-sook's words are true. Expectations are rising for today's broadcast to see if this will lead to the two clearing up their misunderstandings.
Meanwhile, the 16th episode of 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers!' will air on the 23rd at 8 PM.
