In ‘My Ugly Duckling’, the challenge of national representative Lee Yong-dae and the weakest duo Kim Jun-ho X Lee Sang-min in the ‘Osaka Buffet Marathon’ is revealed.
During a recent recording of the SBS entertainment program ‘My Ugly Duckling’, Lee Sang-min, Kim Jun-ho, and Lee Yong-dae drew attention by challenging the full course of the ‘Osaka Marathon’. Unlike a regular marathon, it was revealed that there is a ‘buffet zone’ where participants can eat 25 different foods after reaching 32km, which amazed everyone in the studio.
To prepare for the marathon challenge, Lee Sang-min and Kim Jun-ho lost 8kg and 3kg respectively, expressing their determination by saying, “Even if we can’t finish, we will run to the ‘buffet zone’.” However, when the rule was revealed that they would be disqualified if they did not pass each section within the designated time limit, everyone in the studio burst into laughter, predicting that “it would be a miracle if the two could even pass 5km.”
As the marathon officially began, ‘poor stamina’ Kim Jun-ho immediately faced trials. Meanwhile, when Lee Yong-dae mentioned that it was his first marathon challenge, MC Shin Dong-yeob expressed concern, saying, “No matter how much of a national representative you are, finishing on your first attempt is not easy.” As he seemed to reach his limit just before the ‘buffet zone’, staggering with dizziness and complaining of knee pain, Yong-dae’s mother could not hide her worried expression.
