On this day, Yejiwon walked for over 30 minutes to arrive at her favorite store. Once seated, she took out her writing tools and a silicone cupping device. Yejiwon said, "It's a schedule that inevitably makes my shoulders stiff. At times like this, it's a bit embarrassing, but I do cupping. When I'm tired or not feeling well, it helps my body relax faster."
At that moment, her Italian teacher arrived. Yejiwon said, "I got a role in a movie where my character has lived in Florence, Italy for over 20 years. Of course, I could just memorize the lines in the movie, but I felt that wouldn't convey a sense of reality. So, I started learning grammar step by step. I met with my teacher every day for a month and a half." The traces of her efforts filled her notebook, surprising everyone.
After finishing her Italian class, Yejiwon headed to a dance academy. She said, "I have to perform Korean dance in the movie. I suddenly had to do salpuri. I practiced every day for a month and a half, for 2 to 4 hours."
As Yejiwon finished her stretching, a teacher from the National Dance Company appeared. Yejiwon said, "I have to express the role I was given in the movie in a short period. But there's not much time, so I'm learning from the best teacher."
When the production team said, "It must cost a lot to learn from the best teacher," Yejiwon replied, "It costs a lot. I spend all my guarantee on my work." When the production team asked, "Don't you save any money?" Yejiwon said, "I spend it all on my work. First of all, I often get roles that require a special profession. They cast me knowing how hard I work, and if I don't put in that effort, the actor could change. Above all, I would be disappointed in myself and regret it for the rest of my life," revealing her passion for her work.
When Hwang Jung-eum asked, "Do you have a separate stretching teacher and a separate dance teacher?" Yejiwon replied, "There are really many dance teachers. Each work has its own homework and curiosity, so there are many." This surprised everyone. In response, Shin Dong-yeob joked, "Aren't actors spending all their money and living off their mothers?"
Yejiwon asked, "I've learned a lot for my work, but I wonder how it would have been if I had spent this time looking for land or going on blind dates. Would life have been more enjoyable?" Shin Dong-yeob replied, "No. Some people enjoy doing those things, but Yejiwon is not one of them."
