The new KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘24-Hour Health Club’ (directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo), which is set to premiere on April 30, features a passionate health enthusiast, the gym director Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Jun-young), who dramatically corrects the lives of overly anxious gym members, unfolding a thrilling muscle growth comedy romance.
With the combination of popular actors like Lee Jun-young and Jung Eun-ji already generating buzz before the broadcast, stills of the company colleagues of the character Mi-ran (played by Jung Eun-ji), who will add another layer of fun to the drama, have been released.
Jung Eun-ji's character, a gym newbie with no muscle experience, Mi-ran, works as an assistant in travel product planning and development at the travel agency ‘Susutour’. The released stills provide a glimpse into the workplace atmosphere where Mi-ran is employed, sparking interest. In the office, Mi-ran is fully focused on her work, dedicated to her main job moments.
Her colleagues are often surprised by Mi-ran's personal life, showing gestures of shock, which adds impact as they demonstrate a strong sense of unity in every moment. The fantastic chemistry among them hints at an extraordinary teamwork.
In the drama, Jung Wook-jin plays Mi-ran's ex-boyfriend Yeom Jun-seok. Jun-seok works in the same team as Mi-ran, and although they are a couple at work, they face relationship issues that create complications. Nam Kyu-hee showcases her presence as Kim Ye-jin, Mi-ran's fellow new hire. Ye-jin expresses impatience towards Mi-ran's spontaneous and innovative ideas and relaxed demeanor. The contrasting personalities of Mi-ran and Ye-jin, who are opposites in every way, are highlighted as a key point of interest.
Heo Jeong-do plays Park Jun-bae, the head of the planning and development team, who secretly cherishes and supports Mi-ran, feeling a connection with her understanding nature. Kwon Hae-woo and Shin Min-seo play team members Yang Jae-sik and Shin Soo-yeon, respectively.
