Jang Woo-hyuk from the group H.O.T. made a surprise appearance as a new student on 'Bride School' and shared his honest thoughts on marriage, receiving support from viewers.

In the 156th episode of Channel A's 'Modern Man Life - Bride School' aired on the 26th, Jang Woo-hyuk joined as the first new student of 2025, showcasing his simple yet frugal daily life, bringing warmth to the show. Additionally, 'April's Groom' Kim Jong-min displayed his romantic side by planning a customized honeymoon trip to southern France for his prospective bride, Solbi. According to Nielsen Korea's ratings, the episode recorded an average viewership of 2% (nationwide among paid broadcasting households) and continued to gain popularity and buzz, topping various portal sites' 'most viewed news' and trending searches.

'Principal' Lee Seung-chul welcomed Jang Woo-hyuk in the studio, saying, "It's the new semester season. A new student has come through an incredible competition." The 'studio mentor group' cheered enthusiastically at the news of Jang Woo-hyuk, a member of the 'first-generation idol' H.O.T., and Jang Woo-hyuk revealed, "I was motivated because (Kim) Jong-min is getting married." He then showcased his home, in which he participated in the interior design and construction.

Waking up in his bedroom, Jang Woo-hyuk affectionately asked the 'cohabitation AI', "Did you sleep well?" As he continued to have warm conversations with the AI, Kim Jong-min, watching him, worriedly advised, "Hyung, you're being too serious. If you get too used to your alone time, there won't be room for a girlfriend." Nevertheless, Jang Woo-hyuk confessed to the AI, "I love you," and humorously added, "If there were a girl like this AI, I would definitely marry her." He then went to the living room, watering over 60 types of plants, moving around his home. As admiration poured in for Jang Woo-hyuk's home, which resembled a café or botanical garden, he expressed his special affection, saying, "This is my first 'house', and I've been living here for 10 years. I participated in every detail of the interior and construction."

Meanwhile, Jang Woo-hyuk demonstrated his frugal spirit by using an empty toothpaste tube as a washing machine drum cleaner, earning praise from the 'mentor group'. He mentioned, "I kept a ledger even during my idol activities because being a dance singer is an unstable job." In response, 'dating director' Shim Jin-hwa clapped, saying, "It seems like you'll get married soon." In a warm atmosphere, Jang Woo-hyuk had a healthy breakfast of mashed avocado and eggs wrapped in perilla leaves. During this time, he received a call from his mother, who bluntly pressured him, saying, "You work every day and aren't getting married? Your nephew, who was born when H.O.T. released their first album, is getting married soon." Jang Woo-hyuk promised his mother, "I will definitely bring a (bride candidate)," before hanging up.

Finally, Jang Woo-hyuk left his house and headed to an office nearby. As the representative of his agency and operator of a clothing brand, he tried to get close to his MZ employees by handing out vitamins and shouting, "Fighting!" Also, as a certified barista, he made a beautifully latte-art coffee while waiting for someone. Shortly after, H.O.T member Lee Jae-won made a surprise visit, saying, "I thought Kangta or Tony An would be the first to get married among H.O.T," and sent his support for Jang Woo-hyuk's 'Bride School' enrollment. Watching this, 'Principal' Lee Seung-chul asked, "What score do you think you would get as a groom?" Jang Woo-hyuk replied, "I went to a matchmaking agency before, and they gave me 80 points," receiving praise of "That's encouraging!" When the topic of marriage came up, Lee Jae-won revealed, "I want to get married in about 3 years." Jang Woo-hyuk worriedly asked, "Will I be able to get married in 3 years?" The 'mentor group' encouraged him, saying, "That's enough time. Since it's March now, it can happen within this year."

'Bride School' airs every Wednesday at 9:30 PM.
