Lee Yeon-bok from ‘Pyeon Restaurant’ named Lee Chan-won as a strong candidate for victory.
On the afternoon of the 27th, a press conference for KBS2's entertainment show ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereafter referred to as Pyeon Restaurant) was held at KBS Art Hall in Seoul. PD Yoon Byung-il, Boom, Lee Yeon-bok, Oh My Girl's Hyojeong, Kim Jaejoong, Lee Jung-hyun, and Lee Sang-woo attended.
When asked about strong candidates for victory, Lee Yeon-bok said, “There are so many powerful chefs. The ones that come to mind are interesting, and Lee Chan-won stands out. I was surprised when Lee Chan-won introduced his dried fish and seasoned vegetables. He endures the smell while drying fish and vegetables, and his sincerity towards cooking is evident.”
He continued, “When he cooks, there are no recipes, and he makes dishes quickly. He invites many guests and prepares meals in no time. It’s not easy, but he manages to do it quickly. A strong candidate for victory.”
When Kim Jaejoong, who was present, playfully expressed disappointment, Lee Yeon-bok added, “Lee Jung-hyun is also really strong, and every time Kim Jaejoong uses flavoring powder, it feels like a cheat. Lee Sang-woo’s dedication is also amazing. I can’t point out just one, but there are many strong candidates.”
‘Pyeon Restaurant’ is a program that observes the daily lives of gourmet stars and shares their recipes. The menu that wins the competition is launched as a new menu, and they have been building a positive influence through donations from the proceeds. It airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
