The actors Seo Kang-joon, Jin Ki-joo, and Kim Shin-rok, who solidly led 'Undercover High School', expressed their gratitude to the viewers.
MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jeong-in) added to the viewing pleasure with its fresh story of a National Intelligence Service agent disguising as a high school student to find the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars, along with charming characters.
First, Seo Kang-joon, who played the ace agent Jung Hae-sung, said, "I remember the many staff members I shared both hardships and joys with during filming. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who gave their all without holding back, from the hot summer to the cold winter." He added, "I want to emphasize that this project allowed me to show a new side of myself after my military service. I was happy to meet the 'cool guy' Jung Hae-sung, which is quite different from the characters I've played before, and I hope to be remembered by the viewers. I want to thank everyone who cherished Hae-sung."
Jin Ki-joo, who played the always bright and positive temporary teacher Oh Soo-ah, said, "I had a grateful time receiving a lot of love and support. I still want to see a bit more, but it feels like the 12 episodes went by too quickly. Thanks to everyone who lovingly watched Soo-ah, I think she will continue to be happy." Regarding the work 'Undercover High School', she reflected, "This project has made me a little more of an adult. I think it has to do with experiencing a character who has a strong desire to protect someone, and also because I became stronger while filming."
Kim Shin-rok, who froze everyone with his powerful villain persona, also shared his thoughts. He said, "It's a pity that 'Undercover High School', which I have been watching live for several weeks, is coming to an end. The character Seo Myung-joo was fun to act and to monitor, but now that I have to let go, it feels bittersweet. I want to thank everyone who watched and supported from the first episode to the last."
The perfect chemistry and synergy of Seo Kang-joon, Jin Ki-joo, and Kim Shin-rok shone brightly in 'Undercover High School', which concluded its grand finale on the 29th.
