In ‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers’, Ahn Jae-wook's feelings for Um Ji-won began to stir.

In the 18th episode of KBS2's weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers!’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah, written by Koo Hyun-sook), Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook) was depicted feeling excited about Ma Gwang-sook (played by Um Ji-won). The episode recorded a viewership rating of 21.6% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide), ranking first among all programs aired on the weekend and continuing its upward trend. The key indicator of channel competitiveness and topicality, the 2049 viewership rating, also recorded 3.6%, proving its high topicality as the number one in its time slot.

In this episode, Gwang-sook struggled to brew the dream liquor that her late husband Oh Jang-soo (played by Lee Pil-mo) wanted to make. While Gwang-sook worked hard learning how to make the fermentation starter, Dokgo Tak (played by Choi Byung-mo) plotted a scheme to shake up the Eagle Liquor House, heightening the tension.

Oh Cheon-soo (played by Choi Dae-cheol) divorced his wife Kang So-yeon (played by Han Soo-yeon). Cheon-soo, shocked by So-yeon's brazen attitude, handed her a broken wedding ring and turned away coldly. He then hinted at a new resolve to rise again.

Meanwhile, Dong-seok's unexpected behavior added to the viewing pleasure. He accidentally overheard Gwang-sook talking to others. Dong-seok smiled happily when Gwang-sook embraced him. However, when Gwang-sook made a comment about his appearance, saying, “I really dislike that style,” she firmly drew the line, leaving him upset.

Oh Heung-soo (played by Kim Dong-wan) worried about Kim Sun-hwa (played by Ahn Mi-na), who missed a dance lesson. Unaware that Sun-hwa had gone missing, Heung-soo waited aimlessly in front of the piano academy for her. Seeing this, Ji Ok-bun (played by Yoo In-young) remarked, “Just because you’re waiting like this doesn’t mean Director Kim will show up,” giving him a sharp retort.

There was still a chilly atmosphere between Gwang-sook and Dong-seok as they met to decide on food to accompany Jang Gwang-joo. Dong-seok repeatedly apologized for the past misunderstanding but still showed a hint of suspicion. In response, Gwang-sook shot back, “No matter how much the chairman is the supplier and I, Ma Gwang-sook, am an unremarkable client, you shouldn’t blindly suspect people and look at them through colored glasses. That’s exactly what abuse of power is,” delivering a refreshing comeback.

Drunk, Gwang-sook mistook Dong-seok's car for a taxi. Dong-seok, bewildered, eventually decided to take Gwang-sook to the liquor house. Once in the car, Gwang-sook quickly fell asleep, and Dong-seok's heart raced as he watched her lean on his shoulder.

At the end of the broadcast, Gwang-sook was surprised to hear from her mother, Gong Ju-sil (played by Park Jun-geum), that she had come home in Dong-seok's car. She playfully suggested they clear up their misunderstandings and mistakes. Dong-seok responded to Gwang-sook, saying, “CEO Ma is indeed a handful, but she’s not annoying,” leaving a meaningful remark as the episode concluded. As Dong-seok's feelings for Gwang-sook changed, viewers were left curious about how their relationship would evolve in the next episode.

‘Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers!’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM.
