Actor Lee Kwang-soo, who delivers a powerful performance in 'Bad Fate', pointed out the 'power of the script' that made him sweat in his hands as one of the charms of the work.
On the morning of the 31st, at the production presentation of the Netflix series 'Bad Fate' (directed by Lee Il-hyung) held at the Grand Ballroom on the LL floor of JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square, Lee Kwang-soo began, "I suddenly understood the phrase that makes you sweat in your hands."
He said, "The script was so wet from my sweating hands. Even though the weather was chilly, I had to print it several more times," adding, "It was a piece of writing that made me sweat to the point of it becoming a sea of water. When I imagined the actors here in it, it felt much richer, and I just wanted to be a part of it."
The new Netflix K-series 'Bad Fate' is a crime thriller depicting the intertwined stories of six individuals who cannot escape from a bad fate they want to break free from. It is the first series work by director Lee Il-hyung, known for 'The Attorney', in collaboration with the production team of 'The Age of Shadows' and 'Suriname'.
The cast includes Park Hae-soo, Shin Min-a, Lee Hee-joon, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo, and Gong Seung-yeon. The six actors make 'evil' choices for their own reasons and become hopelessly entangled without being able to find a starting point. The characters' stories and relationships are unraveled relentlessly over six episodes.
To be released worldwide on April 4. Not suitable for viewers under 18.
