Actress Choi Yeo-jin (42) clarified the infidelity allegations after announcing her marriage to a 7-year-older 'divorced' sports businessman.
On the broadcast of SBS's entertainment program ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’ on the 31st of last month, Choi Yeo-jin joined the show as a new couple with her fiancé Kim Jae-wook, who is 7 years her senior, ahead of their wedding in June.
On that day, Choi Yeo-jin called Kim Jae-wook's ex-wife and greeted her by saying, “I received the kimchi well,” to which the ex-wife replied, “I also enjoyed the eggs you sent, sister.”
The ex-wife then mentioned, “My sister sent something, and I reported it because there were strange comments floating around on YouTube. They wrote a bizarre story. You must have seen it too, how upsetting it must have been for you,” referring to the infidelity allegations against Choi Yeo-jin.
Kim Jae-wook's ex-wife stated, “We had everything sorted out and met after the divorce, so why are there so many rumors? I’m a witness. There are many rumors saying otherwise,” and added playfully, “They seem to match well. I think someone more accommodating and generous like you suits him better than someone strict like me.”
Choi Yeo-jin also actively addressed the infidelity allegations in an interview with the production team. She stated, “What I can say for sure is that (Kim Jae-wook) met after the divorce. I hope people understand that I did not engage in any behavior that could lead to misunderstandings.”
Last year, Choi Yeo-jin revealed her relationship with a businessman who is 7 years older on the SBS entertainment program ‘Shoe Off, Dolsing for Men’ and recently announced her marriage.
However, infidelity allegations arose as her fiancé was known to be a water ski coach who appeared on tvN’s ‘On and Off’ in 2020. During that broadcast, Choi Yeo-jin shared that she lived at the water ski coach couple's house for 5 days a week.
