Actress Park Han-byul, who had suspended her activities in the entertainment industry, reveals stories from the past six years that she couldn't even share with her family.

In the TV CHOSUN entertainment program ‘Dad and Me’, which airs on the 1st, the story of Park Han-byul, who is making her return to broadcasting after six years, and her father, who quietly supported her during difficult times, will be featured.

Park Han-byul chose to take a hiatus in 2019 due to an incident involving her husband and has been living in Jeju Island, disconnected from the world.

Reflecting on that time, Park Han-byul said, “My story was everywhere on TV and phones, and it was the same whenever I met someone. I felt like I couldn’t do anything, and every day felt like hell.” She also shares her painful feelings about the divorce comments directed at her, such as “Aren’t you crazy?” and “Just break up already.”

Park Han-byul reveals, “Even my mother-in-law cried and told me to get a divorce for my sake,” sharing stories that even her family didn’t know. Despite this, the reason she felt compelled to protect her family will be revealed in the broadcast.

Additionally, the story of Park Han-byul's father, who had to swallow his pain for six years without showing it for fear of hurting his daughter, will also be introduced.

He, who experienced social anxiety and depression, said, “I could go days without sleeping and didn’t want to eat. I wandered around like a crazy person.”

The painful backstory of Park Han-byul and her father, who are a close father-daughter duo despite pretending not to know each other’s struggles, will be aired on ‘Dad and Me’ at 10 PM on the 1st.
