Singer and actor Park Hyung-sik revealed that he was bullied during his past idol trainee days.
On the broadcast of tvN's entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block' on the 2nd, Park Hyung-sik, a former member of ZE:A, appeared.
On this day, Park Hyung-sik reminisced about his early days as an idol trainee, saying, "There was a company I briefly stayed at before ZE:A debuted. They cast me after seeing a band performance. There were other trainees who auditioned, so I might have looked like I was parachuted in. That’s why the other trainees kept their distance from me."
Park Hyung-sik went through tough times while training at that company. He added, "Everyone was competing, forming cliques, and bullying each other (I thought that was normal). So I thought I just needed to do well on my own, and I practiced alone, believing I had to prove myself with my skills."
His loneliness was alleviated when he moved to a different company. Park Hyung-sik expressed his gratitude, saying, "When I went to the ZE:A company, I was just singing in my room, and the older members came to invite me to eat. The members brought me out from the shadows into the light, and we ate and joked around, which opened my heart."
