In ‘Pyeon Restaurant’, Kim Jaejoong personally prepared a meaningful 60th wedding anniversary ceremony for his parents.
On the 4th, KBS2’s ‘New Menu Launch Pyeon Restaurant’ (hereafter ‘Pyeon Restaurant’) will reveal a special day that the youngest son of a family with many daughters, Kim Jaejoong, devotedly organized for his filial duty. He took charge of planning, investing, directing, and hosting the ceremony for his parents' 60th wedding anniversary.
In the released VCR, Kim Jaejoong appeared with his parents at a famous hotel. As curiosity grew about whether the family was on a vacation, Kim Jaejoong stated, “We created a time for the whole family to gather to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary.” The ‘Pyeon Restaurant’ crew could not hide their excitement at the news that all nine siblings would be gathering. It was a very special day for the large family, which includes 32 direct descendants from the nine siblings.
A moment later, the elevator doors opened, and Kim Jaejoong's family poured out. Everyone was surprised, saying, “So many?” but this was less than half of the total. Shortly after, the elevator doors opened again, and a second group came out. With the nine siblings, their brothers-in-law, and Kim Jaejoong's nieces and nephews ranging from 5 to their 30s, the banquet hall of the hotel began to buzz as the large family gathered.
The ‘Pyeon Restaurant’ crew remarked, “Is this a family event? It feels like a corporate event,” marveling at the large family's happiness. Kim Jaejoong waved his hands, saying, “This is modest considering the brothers-in-law who couldn’t make it.”
At this point, Kim Jaejoong appeared holding cue cards and began to conduct his parents' 60th wedding anniversary ceremony. The event started with a roll call. It took quite a while just to call out the names. Then, the first order of the ceremony began with the siblings bowing deeply to their father and mother. The sight of all nine siblings standing in a row and bowing together to their parents made them repeatedly say, “We are so happy.” The sons-in-law also bowed deeply, followed by a group bow from all 13 grandchildren present.
