The Park Seo-jin family is embarking on a mission to bring back Hyojeong's smile.
In the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Salim Nam Season 2’ (hereafter ‘Salim Nam’), the Park Seo-jin family steps up to comfort Hyojeong.
Recently, Hyojeong, who frequently travels between Samcheok and Incheon to take care of her family, comes up from Samcheok and spends a busy day organizing the house without taking a break. Park Seo-jin, who is happy to see Hyojeong back after a long time, tries to engage her with unnecessary nagging, but Hyojeong remains unresponsive, creating a cold atmosphere between the two.
Later, Park Seo-jin receives a surprising call from their mother, expressing concern about Hyojeong's recent state. When Park Seo-jin asks if something is wrong, Hyojeong simply replies that nothing is wrong, which frustrates Park Seo-jin, leading to an escalation of conflict between them as he expresses anger contrary to his feelings. Eventually, the two siblings explode with their emotions and engage in a heated argument.
After the fight, Hyojeong cautiously shares her struggles in an interview with the production team. She reveals that as more people recognize her, she has been hurt by some people's rough actions and baseless criticism. Hyojeong struggles to explain why she has not shared this with anyone until now, evoking sympathy.
To ease the awkward atmosphere after the argument with Hyojeong, Park Seo-jin invites their parents, who are in Samcheok, to their home in Incheon. The parents make various efforts to bring back Hyojeong's smile. In particular, they wear wigs to lighten the mood and prepare a feast of seafood, which Hyojeong loves, to comfort her. Park Seo-jin also plans a special event for Hyojeong.
Will Hyojeong be able to regain her smile through her family's efforts? This will be revealed in that day's episode of ‘Salim Nam’.
